BLON Animation and Games Festival in Klaipeda is starting next week! On September 9-12, the festival invites for a feature and short animation programmes, VR showcase, games and animation industry talks (Sept. 10-11, free to attend), narrative game design workshop (Sept. 12, registration required) and networking activities. Foreign guests are joining the programme this year from Landfall Games, Paradox Interactive and other studios.

European Game Developer Federation (EGDF)’s “2019 European Video Games Industry- Insights report”, supported by the Interactive Software Federation of Europe (ISFE), combines key national industry data points from 19 European countries. The report, which presents the freshest aggregated data at a European level on the industry, shows continued growth for European game developers. The European video game industry has boomed in recent years because of the wide variety of platforms used to reach players everywhere.
