Note from the Editor: The Avalon Advisory is Avalon's weekly email newsletter, announcing upcoming events (which include academic, extracurricular, and school community events). The Advisory also publishes announcements from families and faculty members. Families are welcome to email the editor, Glencora Pipkin, advisory.avalon@gmail.com if interested in publishing an announcement. Flyers will be linked in the announcement itself; they will not be published in the newsletter (in order to conserve space). The Advisory will often feature a new photo from Avalon's social media manager, Maria Stohlman. Welcome back to Avalon, everyone. Duc in Altum!
