What's Happening at ILP

31st August 2021
Lifelong Learning is the Key
Hi <<First Name>>

“Learning is the only thing the mind never exhausts, never fears, and never regrets.”
...Leonardo da Vinci

We begin this week's update with a quote from someone who knew a thing or two, and it strikes us as very apt to L&D professionals. In a recent masterclass, we explored how so many of us focus on helping others, that we forget to help ourselves. And this can include our own learning and development.

The prime reason the Institute for Learning & Performance (ILP) was formed was to support the ongoing development of people in our industry, and we are proud of what we have accomplished. In this week's update, we will again highlight the ways you can stay abreast of what's happening.

Our masterclasses have proved to be a huge hit that provide relevant and leading-edge insights into our changing industry, and we now have more than 30 of these recordings available to members under L&D Resources. As professionals we need to ensure that we stay in touch, or more importantly, lead the learning evolution and ILP is here to support you.

Another way for ILP Members to do that is by joining the private LinkedIn page - ILP Member Hub..

Welcome to this What’s Happening @ ILP.

Did You Know - Hints, Tips, News

Did you know that as a member of ILP you have the opportunity to stand out from the crowd with a Verifiable Digital Badge?

A digital badge is an indicator of achievements, experience, or skills that you can display and verify online.  Verifiable Digital Badges are a great way to collect and share your digital credentials to validate your accomplishments. ILP has a range of digital badges available, which you can check out on the website

Grow Your L&D Business & Career
It is early days with this, but we are excited about a new initiative ILP is building to help our members build their business or advance their careers. And we'd like your thoughts on what you would like to see in it.
email team@ilpasiapacific.com
Well, that's almost it for this week. But before you go we'd like to hear from you. We are thinking about having a different type of Masterclass on 22 September, and we thought it would be nice to hear from a range of ILP members, and have them share their L&D Story.

Everyone and every business has a story, and we can learn a lot from both hearing and sharing them. Lessons learnt, what would you do again, and not do again, hints and tips for young players or anyone reinventing their business model. This is an opportunity to have your 10 minutes of fame, so if you'd like to be involved please email team@ilpasiapacific.com
