National Meeting
There is still time to register for the 2021 National Meeting! Registration to attend the meeting in-person in San Diego closes tomorrow, Tuesday, September 21st.  Registration to attend the meeting virtually closes on Sunday, September 26th.  Please visit the FDLC website for more information and to register.

  • The Blessing of Animals may be scheduled on or around October 4th.  See the Book of Blessings, nos. 942-965 or Catholic Household Blessings, 154-157.
Monday, November 1st - Solemnity of All Saints
  • not a holy day of obligation
Tuesday, November 2nd - The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls' Day)
  • Suggested readings include Wis 3:1-9, Psalm 23:1-6; Rom 5:5-11 or 6:3-9; Jn 6:37-40 and any readings from Masses for the Dead, nos. 1011-1016 from Lectionary for Mass, volume IV.
The following dates are reminders of important events in the life of the local church in the Diocese of Orlando:

September 23rd is the anniversary of Bishop Noonan's ordination to the priesthood.

September 29
th - Blue Mass at St. James Cathedral at 12:10 p.m.
  • The Blue Mass will be livestreamed on the Diocesan website.
