Fall Education Programs

We're bringing back all of our education programs this Fall! From workshops and After School Art to our Teen and Adult Classes, there is something for everyone — and every age — to enjoy!

Workshops

Photography: Using Adobe Photoshop

Saturday, September 18, 10 am - 1 pm
Fee: $80 Members, $130 Non-Members
Registration Deadline: September 12, 2021

This workshop will concentrate on ways Photoshop can enhance your photographs. Topics will include:

Using layers to expand dynamic range
How to use the cloning tool
Stitching panoramas
Combining photos to create multiple images

Students are encouraged to bring their own laptops with Photoshop installed and follow along.

Phoneography: Smartphone Photography

Saturday, October 9, 2021, 10 am - 1 pm
Fee: $80 Members, $130 non-Members
Resgistration Deadline: October 3, 2021

Ready to catch those special events, moments, and artistic shots like a pro with a device we all now seem to carry in our pockets? In this workshop, students will learn basic skills and compositional techniques in photography, along with the following topics:

Apps
Special effects
Photo manipulation
Photo collage
Multiple exposure

Students will use their own smartphones or tablets. Please note: This workshop will be taught using Apple products; therefore, some basic photography functions may differ slightly from those of other cell phone brands.

Summer Class Registration

After School Art

Join us for our After School Art!

Mondays, September 27 - November 1 at 4:30 pm
Fee (per child): Free for Members, $5 Non-Members
No pre-registration required. Doors open at 4:20 pm. Space is limited; be sure to arrive early to secure your spot!

After School Art is designed for the parent and child to learn creative new skills together. Come join us for a new lesson each week using different mediums and learning about the elements of art. Our activities are easily designed to be recreated at home to further enhance your young artists’ skills — and yours, too!
