Hello Subscribers, Community Partners, and Community Members

We are excited to announce that CCHA’s Learning and Action Collaborative will incorporate a rural health focus in response to feedback obtained from the CHW Rural Health pilot training.  The purpose of the Rural Health Learning Collaborative (RHLC) is to provide an open forum for CHWs to engage, network and share experiences. Our goal is to provide information and resources to CHWS working in rural settings and those who are serving individuals from rural communities.

The format of the RHLC consist of bimonthly sessions to include CHW presentations, guest speakers, and listening sessions. We are still looking for CHWs who are interested in presenting. CHW monthly check-ins and subject matter expert presentations will still occur.

As always, we appreciate your commitment and dedication to the CHW profession. Your participation in this initiative will support and identify best practices in working with rural communities in South Carolina.

Thank you
