With great love comes great loss. This quote resonates with us.
Just a reminder that grieving doesn’t make you weak or mean that anything is wrong with you. It is a normal and necessary part of life.
This is a great question to ponder, and to record and/or discuss with your loved ones What do you want your eventual death to look like? Where do you hope to be? Who do you want to be there? What would bring you peace in your final moments?

End in Mind takes the universal experience of dying to help you re-imagine what it means to live fully at any stage of life.

What is a Death Doula? Panel and Discussion, Thursday, Sept. 9

The end-of-life journey, and how we view and prepare for it, is shifting. With this shift comes a need for support in the transition from life to death. At Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis, from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, you're invited to explore the role of a death doula from professionals in the field, with a variety of backgrounds and experience. The hope is that you’ll walk away with a better understanding of what a death doula is, and how they can provide support while navigating the uncharted waters of dying and death. There will be an information panel discussion, followed by an opportunity to ask questions. This event is free.
