Are you involved in Parks Planning?

Our colleagues at Green Infrastructure Ontario (GIO) Coalition have an exciting opportunity for people involved in parks planning! Please see (below) their invitation to participate in a new survey on the state of large parks in Ontario’s Golden Horseshoe, specifically to dig deeper on issues related to large parks access, equity, and implementation.

You can access the digital survey here: https://forms.gle/T61XNt3oviWGjHiQ8

If you have any questions please reach out!

Yours in green infrastructure,

Hello,
we request your participation in the completion of a survey to contribute to the collaborative research further examining the State of Large Parks in Ontario's Golden Horseshoe. The Green Infrastructure Ontario (GIO) Coalition, in partnership with the Greenbelt Foundation, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and Re:public Urbanism are building on the previous research from the first Large Parks report published in 2019. The goal of the current project is to address the gaps highlighted about Large Parks access, equity, and implementation in the GGH.

You can access the digital survey here: https://forms.gle/T61XNt3oviWGjHiQ8

The goal of this survey is to get more information about:

  • Various aspects of policy tools (used by multiple tiers of government);

  • Funding tools and mechanisms;

  • Political, social and environmental priorities and how these shape large parks planning;

  • And get an overall sense of where different governments/organizations are with respect to large parks planning.

Please complete the survey no later than August 27.

Thank you very much for your involvement in this project.

Kind regards,

GIO team
