New playground at George Reserve 🏃🏻‍♀️
The upgraded playground at George Reserve opened last week.  The playground includes a new swing set and spinner and concrete paths to help get to and from the playground.
Mallabula Recreation Hub works begin 👷🏻‍♂️
Works commenced on the new Mallabula Recreation Hub this week. Earthworks to prepare the main site are complete and ready for construction of the new playground, skatepark and multi-sport court.

Lemon Tree Passage Road works 
All stormwater drainage, pavement and footpath works are now complete on Lemon Tree Passage Road. Asphalt on the intersection of Michael Drive was completed last week and line marking is scheduled for next week.

The final surface treatment will be done in the warmer months towards the end of this year.

Duns Creek Road works 🚧
There has been continued progress on the earthworks at Duns Creek Road with the most substantial section of widening completed. They have also begun the placement of pavement subbase material in the area. The full project includes new sealing, super elevation and shoulders, guardrail, signage, guideposts and line marking.
New amenities for Boyd Oval 🚽
The new multipurpose sports amenities at Boyd Oval are on the way with the in ground services being installed last week. Trenches have also been dug for footings preparation for slab. The building is replacing the old facilities and will be in a slightly new location to improve the connection between the playing fields.
