An Insight Into Songwriting With The Swan Song Project
We recently helped Mick O'Loughlin to write and record an original song, 'The Queen of The St Vincent de Paul', in memory of his younger sister Elaine.

Upon finishing the song, Mick said:

"Dealing with the process of her death has been a tough process, but with the help of Ben, we've managed to put a song together...it's really been a great trip and a great help so thanks to Ben and all at Swan Song."

Ben added:

"This song has been a lot of fun to help write and we have been podcasting the whole journey. For all of our sessions we have had the mics on and hope the finished product gives an insight into Mick processing his grief and how we put songs together."

We look forward to sharing the whole podcast series shortly. Please keep an eye on our social media channels.

Fundraising Update
We are a charity and rely on donations, large and small, to provide our unique songwriting service free of charge.

Can you help us to continue our work: celebrating lives, making memories and leaving legacies?

Swan Songs mean so much to participants and their families. Vic Simborowski's wife Corinna said the following about her late husband's song 'Shades of Love':

"I listened to it several times after he died and found it comforting. I also had it played at his funeral as the closing music and it was very poignant for everyone there to hear his voice."

Our Fundraising Manager Gemma Cross would love to hear from you if you are able to support in some way. Email gemmacross@swansongproject.co.uk.
