CHAPEL RENOVATION WORK UNDERWAY
Work began this week to relocate the pews and remove the old carpet in the Chapel. The Contractor expects the new flooring to be in place by the end of this week.  On Monday electricians are scheduled to begin wiring and installation of new required emergency lighting in the Chapel. Most of the Chapel interior renovation work is expected to be pretty much completed by the end of next week.  The outside electrical, Chapel and other Church building window caulking/sealing and painting and other related work will commence after the Chapel interior work is completed.

BUILDING COMMITTEE AND PVUMC BOARD TO REVIEW RENOVATION PLANS FOR SANCTUARY AND FELLOWSHIP HALL
The Building Committee and Board of Trustees will be meeting jointly this Sunday (August 22) at 2 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall with the  Architect to review the proposed plan and costs for undertaking renovation of the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall. It is anticipated that the Committee will make a final recommendation to the BOT for approval. Once a plan and budgeted costs are agreed upon and approved, the Architect will then apply for the necessary building permit(s) from the County.  It is anticipated that such permits should be approved within 30 to 45 days. Thereafter, the renovation work will be scheduled to begin.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING FOR PRAYER - ONLINE

Every Wednesday at 7:00 pm, we will have our online prayer group. We will pray for the care givers, patients, and all the world to be relieved of the Coronavirus and any others that need healing. With everything that is going on in our nation and the world our prayers are needed more than ever. Please check the Pastoral letter to join us.

Church service  is being done in person and online. You can continue your offerings by giving online. It's easy.  Recurring donations provide a steady stream of support. It is a great way to manage charitable giving without the worry of missing a payment - you set the frequency, select the payment method and your gift continues to give over time.
