Hot Pink Gala Event

Kia Ora Breast Cancer Support Northland Trust, we are delighted to invite you to our up-and-coming fundraising event. Our Hot Pink Gala will be held in October and we would love to see you come and enjoy the Glitz and Glamour on this exciting evening. It is going to be a fun night out and an amazing opportunity to help raise money for Breast Cancer Support Northland Trust.

In October the Barge Park Events Centre will be dressed pink for our first-ever Hot Pink Gala!

It's a chance for locals to come together in solidarity and raise money for the Breast Cancer Support Northland Trust. A night of music, entertainment, and a live auction of amazing products and services all donated by local businesses.

Think pink & get dressed up in your most fabulous outfit and enjoy a Charity Night with top-notch entertainment and dinner provided. We'll be hosting Auctions, giving away best-dressed prizes and more!

Helping us create this memorable event for you, we have Cheers Party Hire onboard to support us with our event planning and to provide a beautifully decorated venue on the day.

We have Jazz music provided by Supplejack - a 5 piece Whangarei-based band that plays covers. Along with Thelonious Punk who are a Modern Jazz group from Kerikeri.

The fully costumed Burlesque Beauties will be performing along with local Hits radio announcer Charmaine Soljak who will be our MC for the night. We are proud to have support from Louis McDonald, an auctioneer from Eves Real Estate who will be calling the charity auction.

In addition, The Hits Team will be there with their photo booth so when you arrive all glammed up, you are able to get a photo as a memento of the night, for free!

Please come along and be involved. This year the Hot Pink Gala is a replacement event for our usual Pink Loop Walk, which due to ongoing council works around the Town Basin & Canopy Bridge areas, wasn't practical to host.

The funds raised will be used to expand our "Helping Hands" service which offers meals and financial contributions to newly diagnosed women. It will also pay for our seventh annual retreat and to train more support volunteers.
