The Aviation Museum is a hive of activity and excitement as Aviation Days approach. The planning committee is pleased with the positive response for volunteers. But we still need five to six people to work the parking detail. If you can give a half day or full day on the 28th or 29th, please contact Shelley Jensen at sjensen@saskaviation.ca or call her at 306-371-7589 as soon as possible. We are dealing with a very tight time frame for ordering t-shirts for our volunteers.
To be a volunteer for this event, you are required to:
Be a current member of the museum. Memberships can be renewed/purchased on-line or at the museum ($50.00 for and individual and $85 for a family).
Purchase a volunteer t-shirt for $10.00 (price reduction). Volunteers are required to wear the official “volunteers” t-shirt when working to identify you to our visitors.
Be double vaccinated.
Also, this is short notice, but on Monday, August 23 at 9:30 we wish to cut and trim the museum grass. If you can help, join us this coming Monday.
