Help Drive the Future of Food Allergy and Asthma Treatments
The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) and KFA have two exciting opportunities that allow you to be an important part of the food allergy and pediatric asthma drug development process. You can participate in upcoming patient-focused drug development (PFDD) meetings. PFDD meetings help ensure that patients’ experiences, perspectives, needs, and priorities are represented in the drug development process with the FDA. KFA is the food allergy division of AAFA.
Join AAFA, a member of the Food Allergy Collaborative, to learn about an upcoming PFDD meeting for food allergy. This webinar will give you an opportunity to learn more about PFDD meetings and why they are important for the food allergy community. Join us tomorrow, Aug. 20, 2021, at 3 p.m. ET, to discuss this project and learn how you can get involved. Register now.
To bring the voice of families impacted by asthma in childhood to the forefront of drug development and research, AAFA, the Allergy & Asthma Network (AAN), the American Lung Association (ALA), and the American Partnership for Eosinophilic Disorders (APFED) are collaborating on a new project – Little Airways, Big Voices. There are multiple ways to contribute to the project and share your experiences living with and managing asthma in childhood.

It is easier to manage food allergies with encouraging support. When you support KFA, you help a parent connect with other parents managing the same food allergies. You advocate for better protections for people with food allergies. And you help a caregiver save a child's life through educational information.
Please consider supporting KFA. You can be part of our mission that makes a difference in the lives of families raising children with food allergies.
