I am delighted to be able to offer some new courses on Zoom over the next few weeks as well as some new short courses or single presentations in the rest of the year. Of course, these will depend on COVID restrictions and may be cancelled or moved to Zoom as necessary.

Advance Care Planning involves several major issues to be considered when a person has full mental discretionary capacity to make legally binding decisions. Power(s) of Attorney for medical and financial decisions, and estate planning are topics covered by Victorian legislation and this talk is an introduction to these topics.

21LIT015 Bioethics and Science Fiction
Presenter: Dr Evie Kendal NEW

This course will look at how bioethical issues are portrayed in literature and film, with a particular focus on the science fiction genre. It will consider the impact of real and fictional case studies on bioethical debate, considering the "yuck" factor, moral spectatorship, and philosophical theories of the imagination.
