In the last few months, our team at Fortify Rights has been busy. From April to June 2021, we conducted more than 105 activities to advance human rights in Southeast Asia. As Myanmar’s human rights crisis continues to unfold, we are working to reverse the coup and ensure accountability for mass atrocity crimes. We recorded 32 engagements with Myanmar’s National Unity Government and members of the "international community" and conducted 42 protection-related activities to improve security for more than 50 human rights defenders and organizations targeted by the Myanmar junta.
