Welcome Week is a series of events open to all MU students that occur each fall the week before school starts. See below for a small sample of events!
Friday August 20
Coffee Walk: Need your coffee fix? This event will expose you to a few of the best according to the faculty, staff, and administrators who work at Mizzou.
Student Success Carnival: Play games and learn about tutoring, academic coaching, advising and career services to help you be successful in your Mizzou journey!
Campus Tours: Join Tour Team for a campus tour and learn more about Mizzou while learning how to navigate the physical campus. Tours begin @ 1:30 p.m. and leave every 30 minutes until 6 p.m. from the North steps of Jesse (Columns side).
Saturday August 21
Midnight BBQ: Celebrate the start of school with Mizzou’s largest block party.
Self Defense Seminar: Join Mizzou Club Taekwondo to learn how to avoid dangerous situations and practice simple martial arts techniques.
Flick on Faurot: Grab your blankets and friends to watch F9:The Fast Saga on Faurot Field!
Sunday August 22
Shakespeare's Pizza Party: Grab a slice of a Columbia tradition-Shakespeare’s Pizza before you head over to Tiger Walk!
Tiger Walk: Incoming students will walk through the Columns toward Jesse Hall to symbolically mark their entrance into Mizzou. The public is invited to attend.
Welcome Week is from August 18 - 22 (Wednesday to Sunday).
