- New Faith Formation Season Launch: Holy Trinity Faith Formation is gearing up for another year of faith and fun with a number of programs and opportunities for our children to learn and grow in the faith! These programs range from our family-focused IGNITE program for young children and their families, the WAY for our junior high aged youth, and our sacramental preparations for First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation. Registration for Holy Trinity Faith Formation opens this Wednesday August 25! A brief overview of our faith formation offerings as well as the schedules for when these groups gather is available on our website here. - Closing Masses to Be Filmed: The closing Mass at St. Francis of Assisi will happen on Sunday, September 19th. On Sunday, September 26th is the closing Mass for St. Elizabeth Seton. Archbishop Dunn will preside at these Masses, taking place at 11:15am. Due to Covid, pre-registration is required to attend. Information on how to do that can be found here. Both of these closing Masses will be video recorded and uploaded to the parish YouTube channel.
- Job Posting Closed: In the last First 5 we shared a job posting for a part-time Encounter Coordinator. The position closed earlier today and we're now in the hiring process. Thanks very much for your prayers for this process. If you missed the last First 5, some information on staffing changes can be found here. More to come on this position and on parish Growth Groups in the weeks ahead as we launch into our new ministry season.
- In Gratitude: The annual Mass for the Faithful Departed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery took place last night (the skies cleared making it possible to have it on site). Several of our parishioners helped with the preparation of this Mass and Fr. Bryan preached an inspiring homily and Deacon Art served. Thanks so much to all those who played a part in making this happen. Please pray for all the faithful departed.
