You won't want to miss these upcoming events!

The Meet the Hornets Pep Rally is Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. inside Hornet Stadium. ECHS athletes will be introduced and there will be special performances by our spirit groups. 

Does your child want to perform alongside the East Central High School Honeybees at a football game? Bring them on out to the annual Jr. Honeybee Clinic where they will learn a fun energetic dance routine to perform on the field inside Hornet Stadium! This clinic is open to ages 5-14. The clinic is Sept. 18 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and  the performance is on Sat., Sept. 25. For more information, including registration form, go to https://www.ecisd.net/Page/14192.

Block Play Promotes Early Math and Science Skills
Justa Garcia, an EC Pre-K Instructional Specialist, observed Block Play in the Pre-K classrooms of Mrs. McCain (Salado Elementary) and Mrs. Kindschuh (Pecan Valley Elementary). During Block play, students have the space and materials to create some fabulous block structures! It allows for so many early math and science skills to emerge. Our Pre-K students were already working hard this first week of school!

Highland Forest Elementary serves every student in every way, as evident by the space dedication for a Motor Lab.
