The great KAMG Summer BBQ is back this year! Those who have bought tickets will of course be provided with food, but everyone is welcome, even if you're not eating! Weather looks to be dry, with sunny spells.
Also, there is an Extraordinary General Meeting to elect a new Chair. All group Full Members, Associates and Friends are invited to attend (but only Full Members may vote). One nominee has been proposed so far, Tina Underwood proposed by Joe Mair and seconded by Ian Walker.

Ride of Remembrance

Leybourne Lakes to Birling Gap,
Sunday 19th September, depart 9.00am

KAMG has lost some much-loved members in the last couple of years, including Amanda Binks (pictured), Mick Mills, Phil Rush and John Booker. Steve Riches will be running a ride in their honour on Sunday 19th September to Birling Gap, one of Amanda's favourites. Please log in on tracker if you would like to attend.

'Training is everything'

A short video with great cinematography, some powerful interviews and a persuasive message putting a compelling case for all riders to sign up for continued motorcycle training. Click here to view - and forward to any non-advanced motorcyclist you may know.

Machine Control Day

Following on from the very well attended Machine Control Day in July, Jim Pullen and team are doing it all again on Saturday 11th September at Ebbsfleet International car park - 9.45am registration for 10.00am start. Please book your place on Tracker.

Filtering in France

As part of an experiment across 21 departments, motorcycle filtering in traffic is now permitted once again in many French regions. Broadly, filtering is allowed on dual carriageways, or single lane highways where traffic is at a standstill, and the motorcycle's filtering speed is no more than 50kph (31mph). There are other conditions, so please click here for full details.

KAMG needs YOU

We are always looking for fresh input. Currently we are particularly looking for help with Green Badge Holders and Observers to help plan and run KAMG social and training runs when they resume.

Please contact Tina Underwood or Joe Mair if you can help.
