Some updates from the Cherry Hinton Festival Team.
"It's only a month to the Cherry Hinton Festival! So, what's happening? Live music with street food and a bar - from 12noon to 10pm on Saturday 18th September at St Andrew's Church. We have a great headline act that will definitely get you on your feet to dance the night away! More details to follow, but in the meantime save the date "
Also they are looking for some more addresses in Cherry Hinton and surrounding areas to have boards up advertising the festival. Please let us know if you are able to have a board outside your house. The sponsorship from the advertising boards is helping to cover costs, so that the event is free to attend.
"Wow! We had over 300 suggestions for a name for our new community cafe. Thank you!
The team have spent a long time reading and discussing all of your ideas (sorry for the wait!) because we wanted to make sure that we gave thought to them all.
We now have a 'long list' of 11 names and we will be asking for your help to make a short list. A poll will be posted on our website and our social media pages on FRIDAY 27th August. The names with the highest number of votes will go through to a second round of voting ... after which we will have our winner!

Cherry Hinton Baptist Church Family Centre Booking Information
Children's party bookings now being taken: the Family Centre on Fishers Lane is now accepting bookings for children’s parties on Saturdays from 2:30-6:30pm, £60 for the Large room and Kitchen or £90 for the whole centre.
