"Return to Rugby" Club Lunch
Friday, 3rd Sept.

Bookings for the club lunch with guest speaker Simon Shaw close this Thursday (26th Aug).  There are some places left and we need to know final numbers for the caterers.

Tickets are £50 for a three course meal and welcome drink. KO 12.30pm.

Please email the chairman@farnhamrugby.org to book your place(s) and/or pay via the web site at https://www.farnhamrugby.org/payments.  If you can't work the payment on the website, we'll get the dosh off you on the day as long as you have booked with an email to the chairman.  Don't delay, book today!

It promises to be a very special occasion for the club after the untold frustrations of lockdown etc. Before regaling us with an engaging and inciteful after lunch speech, Simon will officially open the gym at the Shed (at noon) - so if you're not coming to lunch, pop down anyway to meet this giant of England and the British Lions and take a peek at the fabulous new facility available exclusively to all members -  players (over 16) and parents.

On which subject, we should all give a BIG HAND to the U13 squad (players and parents) who interrupted their preseason training session last week to take all the gubbins from changing rooms 7/8 over to the storage space behind the gym at the Shed.  Thanks lad, ladies and gentlemen.

And don't forget the little matter of the first full-on 1st XV match for a year or more that takes place at Wilkinson Way on Saturday 4th Sept when we rekindle our old rivalry with Cobham - this time in a London 1 (South) encounter.

With the weather set fair for the next couple of weeks, its all bubbling up nicely!
