Weekly Postcard -Testimony CMS Training

Two years ago a colleague was helping to facilitate a "Culture Meets Scripture" (CMS) workshop for the Madi people. Many hearts were changed as they analyzed their own culture and compared it to what scripture says.

Two nights ago a group of PNG men and women who are training to become CMS facilitators sat around a fire singing worship songs (we heard them from our house) and sharing stories. Nangsi, the national translator for the Madi people, shared about what had been happening since that workshop in 2019. He praised God that people have stopped following some of the cultural practices which they had discovered were not honoring God. He also shared that he and his family have faced intense trials and, with tears, he shared about the burden of standing up for the truth of the gospel which comes with a cost. He said that he is ready to lose his life for Christ and that he will not give up on the call that God has placed on his life to translate the Word and seek to help his people grow in their understanding of the Word of God.

Praise God for the Culture Meets Scripture workshop, for Nangsi and the Madi people!
Praise God for Luisa. She is 10 years old now!

Please pray for the Madi people. Please pray specifically for the Madi believers who are standing up for Truth among their people group.
Please pray for David and Andy Grosh as they prepare for the recording of the Kaluli New Testament, beginning 8 days from now.
