Redistricting takes place every ten years to determine new boundaries for Congressional, Oregon Senate, and Oregon House seats.  This happens in response to the census that takes place every 10 years.  Drawing these boundaries fairly and keeping demographics in mind, rather than politics may determine your future!  For instance, poorly and unfairly drawn districts may make it hard or impossible for your viewpoints and worldview to be expressed in good legislation. That process is taking place right now and participating in the process to try and influence more fairness in the outcome is our hope (a good process may allow religious freedom and freedom in general to continue).  Current plans may have many of our congressional seats, up to 4, of them including a piece of downtown Portland.  What commonality does most of Oregon have with the very liberal voters in Portland?  What can you do?  Testify in the discussions!
