Now that we have made this crucial decision, we are hard at work with our speakers producing media projects that will inspire, provoke, and propel diverse female leadership in all sectors and aspects of women's lives!

This month, we are featuring the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee, a change-making organization that is elevating bold, diverse female leadership. Through their STEP program and partnership with JFCS Suncoast, they've been able to facilitate donation drives with a direct impact on several families who sought refuge after escaping Afghanistan.
"It has been an honor to support my STEP (Shapiro Teen Engagement Program) teens when they expressed interest in helping Afghan refugees. I immediately thought of The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee’s partner organization, JFCS of the Suncoast, and was quickly connected with the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office as well. In one day we collected countless essential items for families resettling in our area; families who fled Afghanistan with nothing but the clothing on their backs. My STEP teens exemplified the Jewish value of “helping our neighbor” with this project. I tell them “alone we are a drop, together we are an ocean” and boy did they show it."
