Dear Gan Families,
Late last night, the ADL Midwest office located in Chicago received a specific threat via its website they believe to be directed towards another Twin Cities synagogue. Out of an abundance they have decided to close their building today. It is important to note that Adath has NOT received any threats. We have been in close contact with the Minnetonka Police and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas and there is not threat against Adath Jeshurun Congregation or Gan Shelanu Preschool. Out of an abundance of caution, Minnetonka police officers will be present at our building all day today to provide an extra layer of security.
