Join us LIVE this Sunday...

Hi everyone...I think it's fair to say that we are still working out how best to "get back on our feet" in a post-COVID world. Among MANY other things, church has been a bit tricky, hasn't it!? As you know, I had hoped that we would have posted edited recordings of our weekly church services online week-by-week, to keep everyone "on the same page", whether they felt comfortable coming in-person, or safer watching from home on YouTube. But this has proved to be harder then I anticipated, with the editing process taking way too much time...so we are going to try something new...again!

Here's the plan...

This Sunday (12th September), we are going to try live-streaming the service from the chapel, live and unedited!

If everything works (no sniggers, please), then those who can't be with us in person, will still be able to watch along live via our YouTube page. If you are signed in to YouTube, you will even be able to comment via the live-chat and say hello to one another...and to me!! And even if you are not available at 10.15am, you will be able to watch the service later on "catch-up" as it will stay online and can be accessed via YouTube at any time.

Please don't panic...

If you hope to be with us this Sunday, then please don't panic about the recording. The camera will generally just catch the back and tops of peoples' heads, and will "switch" to the OHP display during the singing (so no one will see your joyful dancing!), and the microphone will turn OFF during any open prayer...so you can pray out loud for Mrs Bloggs without fear of it being broadcast live on the internet!

Our visual and sound engineer, "Jack at the back" will be monitoring the live-stream feed throughout the service, and can switch to a blank screen at the press of a button if needed.
