staff member welcoming at move-in

Welcome to Beaver Nation: It's go time!

Move-in is nearly here and we hope you're as excited as we are, Beavs! Along with packing all your favorite orange and black, here are some more things you can do to get ready:
  • Check your MyUHDS to confirm your hall, room, roommate information and the date and time you're assigned to move in.
  • Read through the move-in guide you received in the mail and our online move-in guide for detailed day-of instructions and lots of tips to help you prepare.
  • Log in to your Student Health Services patient portal. Complete the Assignment of Benefits and Consent to Treat clearances, and upload your health insurance card to help expedite the on-site COVID-19 testing process. Click here for instructions.
  • Remember face coverings for you and all of your guests. Face coverings are required in all OSU indoor settings and outdoors where physical distancing is not possible.

Reser Stadium

What to expect when you get here

We've designed this year's move-in to celebrate your arrival while also adhering to public health guidance. You'll start your move-in at the Reser Stadium parking lot and finish as an official resident of Beaver Nation.

Here's how:

1. Follow the UHDS traffic map to Reser Stadium. Arrive at Reser at your assigned move-in time slot and our staff will guide you through the rest! Make sure you follow the traffic pattern in our move-in map and don't rely on GPS or navigation apps to guide you.

2. Complete an on-site COVID-19 test. Oregon State will require an OSU-administered COVID-19 test of all incoming campus residents, regardless of vaccination status, at Move-in. Testing will be available upon your arrival at Reser Stadium. Be sure to have your insurance card and photo identification ready. You will not need to wait for your test results to move in.

3. Pick up your room key. Get your room key, OSU ID card and an unloading zone pass from our staff at Reser Stadium. When an unloading zone space becomes available at your residence hall, you'll follow an escort car to your building.

4. Move in to your hall. Park in the unloading zone for your building and move your belongings to your room. (Your unloading zone pass is good for 20 minutes; after that you'll need to move to long-term parking.) We'll have large carts available to make it easier to move belongings to your room. Once your unloading is done, you and any guests have plenty of time to set up your room.

Welcome to your new home away from home!

UHDS dining offers fresh choices

Global cuisine, house-made pasta, tasty grain bowls, signature sandwiches...get ready to eat well, Beavs. We're proud of the food on campus, and we think you'll like it too. Once you move in, start trying some delicious food!

A few important updates for this year:

  • Your dining plan is now accepted at more than 30 locations across campus. Visit food.oregonstate.edu to learn what's open when, and select "accepts dining dollars" to see where your dining plan works!
  • We have robot delivery! Order something yummy and have it delivered to an outdoor campus location near you. Download the Starship app to get started.
  • Want to adjust your dining plan? No problem! You can adjust your plan via MyUHDS beginning Sept. 19. As a reminder, you can move to a smaller dining plan during the first three weeks of each term; you can move to a larger dining plan at any time.

Your network and streaming options

As an on-campus resident you have some great options for streaming entertainment to your computer or mobile devices. Or, if you actually want to use the internet to study, you have access to fast campus Wi-Fi and web-based printing.
  • Stream live TV, HBO/MAX, Pac-12 sports, and Xfinity On Demand shows with Xfinity on Campus.
  • Watch on-demand movies with our Beaver Movie Streaming service. (You get to submit suggestions every month for which new movies we play!)
  • Connect to the campus wireless network, and use our web-based printing service. Print your work at any BeaverPrint printer on campus, including the printer at each UHDS Service Center.
