Drive Through Flu Shot Clinics

Portal Scheduling Instructions:

Log onto your portal account.
Click the calendar on the left hand side or the tile that says "Schedule an Appointment".
** If you have pending labs or messages, you will need to clear these to see the tile, but you can still navigate to the appointment scheduling module by using the calendar icon on the left.
Select the child (one at a time) for whom you are scheduling a flu shot appointment.
Read the disclaimer and click Continue.
Enter "Flu shot" in the box as the reason for the appointment, then click Continue.
Select the appropriate insurance button. If your insurance hasn't changed since your last visit, click the first button and select your insurance, then click Continue. If you have new insurance, please enter it in the second area.
Under provider, please use dropdown menu to select "FLU IC CLINIC". Then click, "Search for available appointment".
Use the arrows to find your desired date. See below for list of available dates and times.
Click on your desired date once it is showing and then pick an appointment time. All your children may be scheduled at the same time.
Click on your desired time and you will get an email confirmation within 24 hours of your appointment.

What if I don't have a portal account? Please get one! There is so much you can access and communicate on the portal! Please call our office for a PIN and we'll have you set up in <5 minutes!

I have a well visit in September or October. Can my child get their flu shot then? Yes! No need to come to the office twice! Your children can come in and get their flu shots (siblings as well) if they have a visit in September or October in our office.

Can I get my flu shot with my children's in the office during their well visit? Yes. But only if you have already registered in advance. Same day registration will not be allowed for parents. We need to keep track of our allocations carefully to make sure we keep enough for our youngest patients!

Any update on Covid-19 vaccinations for <12 year olds? We are hearing about an FDA approval for Pfizer in November. Then we await ACIP confirmation and approval. As soon as this ACIP approval happens, we will have dates available for your child.

Can my >12 year old get a covid shot now or with his/her flu shot? Yes! But not during flu shot clinic due to issues with temperature of the vaccine and work flow. If you want your child to get a flu shot and a Covid shot on the same day (which is safe to do), please schedule an appointment for our COVID-19 SHOT CLINIC by calling our office and we'll happily do both. These clinics are on Tuesday over the lunch hour and Saturday mornings.
