FAMILY GATHERINGS

Next Sunday is Back to Church Sunday: Invite those who have been away from church, those who have never been to church. Join us in the community celebration at Forest Park from 4:30-6:00 with bounce houses, music, and food trucks and then stay for our community worship at Munson Stadium from 6:00-7:00. Jay Thomas, a Dove Award nominated singer and songwriter, will lead our worship and Denison’s new football coach and athletic director Brent Whitson will share with us his passion for the local church. We need a few volunteers from each church to clean up. If you can help, let Todd know.

Many new Disciple Making Communities have begun on Wednesdays! We hope you can experience growth, fellowship, and healing through one of Park Avenue's communities. We share a meal together at 5:15, and communities meet at 6:30. To see the available options and sign up, click here.

Singles Banquet: All of our singles, college age and above, are invited to a Singles Fiesta on September 25, from 5-7 PM in the ARK. Food and entertainment will be provided! Sign up on the app.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Our Wednesday night meals, PAWS, are such a great outreach and time of fellowship for our church and community. As we resume these weekly meals, we need volunteers to help make them happen! If you would be able to assist, whether for one Wednesday a month or many, it would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Shelly Calvert, Kennie McClure, or the church office at 903-465-1288 to volunteer.

SAVE THE DATES

Front Porch Parenting Workshop: October 17th. David and Lisa Fraze will join us for "Front Porch Parenting," a workshop for parents of teens.
Fortify Family Retreat: October 6-7th. Come have a fun weekend at Texoma Youth Camp with your Park Avenue Family. The cost is $5 per person or $20 per family.
Trunk 'n Treat: October 31st. Join us for hot dogs, games and more from 5-7 PM.

YOUTH MINISTRY

Sunday night Connect has begun! Our youth, grades 7-12, meets at 5:30 on Sunday nights for small groups.

Fall retreat is October 9th and 10th at Mt. Lebanon Christian Camp in Cedar Hill, TX. Sign-ups will be online soon.
