Hello, Knitting and Crocheting Friends,

Starting in May until the end of August, a group of makers took to the challenge of "running" a virtual 5K by knitting, crocheting, spinning, or weaving 5,000 meters (5,468 yards) of yarn. We bonded over weekly Zoom meetings, sharing book and movie recommendations in the forum, and cheering each other on when posting pictures of works-in-progress and finished objects. We were blown away by the number of people who participated and crossed the finish line!

We had more than 40 people finish the 5K, some finishing more than once. We had one maker who crocheted with over 27,000 yards of yarn, someone who clocked 30,000 yards (27,000 of which were spun and plied!), and a maker who used 3,375 yards of just Knitcircus Yarn. Thank you to everyone who made this Make-Along a success. We can't wait to craft with you again!

We still have some 5K Make-Along enamel pins available for purchase if you haven't ordered one yet!
