Hello, Knitting and Crocheting Friends,

The king of color, Stephen West, announced his annual Mystery Knit Along the other day to great fanfare! Every October he hosts a world-wide knit-along for a brand new, never-before-seen shawl pattern. The design itself is a complete mystery and is released in four sections over the course of four weeks, beginning on October 8th. Participants are given small hints about the design like yarn weight, yardage needed, needle size, and color recommendations, but otherwise they have to wait until each section is released (or look at spoiler photos later on) to see how the design is turning out. Stephen is known for his unique design construction and adventurous style, but most of his patterns are relatively easy and fun to make! Previous Mystery Knit-Along shawls include the Exploration Station, Doodler, Building Blocks, and Starflake
This year, Stephen has designed the Shawlography shawl using five skeins of fingering weight yarn and we thought it would be so much fun to put together some kits! We've chosen seven combinations on four of our fingering weight yarn bases that we think would make incredible shawls. Choose from (top to bottom): Purchase the Shawlography pattern now to sign up and receive each week's section starting October 8th. It's available on Ravelry and Gumroad

NEW: Eye of Sauron Impressionist
Our brand new Impressionist was inspired by the symbol of Mordor: the Eye of Sauron. Legend has it few could endure its horrific gaze, but never fear - you'll be able to look at it again and again on your needles and in your beautiful stitching. Knit the Unicorn Luck shawl with 100g of Trampoline, use 100g of Greatest of Ease to make a Thornberry cowl, or crochet the Arrowhead Lace Twisted Cowl with 100g of Opulence. Cast on the Two Sweets Shawl with 100g of Breathtaking BFL or crochet a Scenic Drive shawl with 150g of Trampoline. Use a medium matching sock set and knit the Now & Next socks, the Solstice socks, or the Garden Plot socks
NEW: Rainbow in the Dark speckle
Let your true colors shine through with our new Rainbow in the Dark speckle colorway. Fluorescent rainbow shades peek out from behind a gray and black base, giving this colorway depth and dimension.
