Catechesis: Now Accepting Registrations

The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a catechetical program that encourages children to develop their innate potential for a faith-filled relationship with God. In the Atrium (the room specifically designed and dedicated to the child’s faith formation), the children encounter Jesus, the Good Shepherd who loves them, cares for them, and knows them by name. Catechesis includes Scripture, Mass gestures, prayers, artwork, and music.

St. Basil’s is excited to open the doors of its Atrium to children ages 3-6, starting Sunday September 12.

Information about this unique catechetical approach can be found on our website.

The 2022-22 schedule can be accessed here.

To enroll, please complete the registration form.

First Reconciliation and First Communion: Now Accepting Registrations

Children who are in Grade 2 + are invited to prepare to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion. The program follows a family-based sacramental preparation model, which means that children and parent(s) attend the sessions together. Although the main goal of the program remains to prepare children for the sacraments, it does so within the scope of supporting the domestic church.

Program details, including cost and schedule can be found on our website
