Hybrid events can incorporate a multitude of components and can look completely different from one another. The hybrid experience can be tailored to fit a wide range of budgets. Below are 5 key factors that influence the cost of a hybrid event. The answers to these questions will determine how much your hybrid event will cost. We’ve included some of the common options for each component. The options with more ($) symbols will typically have a larger cost associated with that option.
STREAMING PLATFORM
Where will your virtual attendees go to access the event?
- An existing public streaming site such as YouTube, Vimeo or Facebook ($)
- A landing page on your website ($$)
- A custom event website ($$$)
- A secure, password protected event platform with interactive components ($$$$)
ENGAGEMENT
What type of engagement do you want between your presenter(s) and your audience?
- Simple audio and video content sent to the remote audience for viewing ($)

EQUIPMENT
What additional equipment is needed for your event to go hybrid?
- The event already includes hard-wired internet and cameras therefore the additional hybrid expenses will be streaming licenses, streaming labor and a streaming laptop/computer ($)
