Our artists Robin, Jennifer & Simon work with a group called "Reimagining Dementia: a Creative Coalition for Justice". This is an international group of dementia activists and allies – health professionals people living with dementia (young and old); carers/care partners; family and community members; advocates, artists, academics, policy makers and others - who share a diverse and humanizing vision of care and support that promotes inclusion, relationality, creativity, joy and the possibility of growth for everyone living with, and impacted by, dementia.
Together they work on achieving a humanizing vision of care and support that promotes inclusion, relationality, creativity, and the possibility of growth for everyone living with, and who are impacted by, dementia. Unique to this coalition is our belief in the power of creativity – the arts, theater, music, movement, improvisation, performance and much more – brings us together to innovate new ways to promote personal and social transformation, address social injustices and shift the culture toward relationships, creativity, and human flourishing.
