Is your club prepared for an emergency?

The disaster season is upon us so now is the time to develop your Business Continuity Plan (BCP).

Your BCP should contain all the information necessary to ensure that your club/organisation is able to resume critical activities in the event of a crisis. This could include a checklist to ensure you have a current contact list, back-ups of computer files, scanned copies of any important documents such as insurance policies and include a general clean-up of your premises to remove any debris.

It is also important to have a checklist to prepare your own place of residence.

For further information on how to prepare for emergencies visit the Mackay Regional Council Emergency Dashboard.
