Chapter Membership Update from the Director of Membership
"Community" – it’s our common thread when we ask our members why they join and renew their memberships in our ACMP Greater Vancouver Chapter. What a year it has been, and our local change community continues to thrive - growing together from 125 members to 142 members since Nov 2020.

This year, we introduced several new opportunities for our community to connect, learn and share expertise – from new member meetups, members only Conversations with Change Practitioners, Change Presentation Series with Advanced Practitioners to the pilot Mentorship program.

To continue to provide rich programming, we would appreciate your input on future event formats via a quick survey (see details below). In addition, if you are interested in becoming a board member or volunteer to support our community, please send us a note at admin@acmpvan.com (see Board Election information below).

Thank you to all of our members in this incredible community – cheers to a great year of connections and for all your contributions!

Regards,
Felicia Granger
Director of Membership, ACMP Greater Vancouver Chapter

Survey: Preference on Event Format
Virtual or in-person? Our Vancouver Chapter Board wants to do a pulse check with our members and to understand your preference of event format. We appreciate it if you can take 5 – 10mins to complete a short survey HERE and let us know your thoughts as we plan our future events.
Blog: Truth and Reconciliation: Calls to Action
At our September “Conversations with Change Practitioners,” our members were invited to share out knowledge and experience around the residential school revelations. Using a W3 process from Liberating Structures, we explored working with indigenous communities.
Now what? Grace invites you to read the “Calls to Action” from the Truth and Reconciliation report HERE if you haven’t already.

Mentorship Pilot Program Results
We started our pilot Mentorship Program in February 2021. This program provided opportunities for ACMP Vancouver emerging practitioners to learn from experienced practitioners. Fast forward to September 2021 and we are happy to share that we had some great feedback about the program. In fact, all the mentees said that they would recommend this program to another emerging practitioner!
Read more on what we learned from the piloting program HERE.

A new cohort will start in January 2022, with applications being accepted in Fall 2021. We will be also be looking for additional mentors to support the mentees. If you are interested in bring a mentor please drop us a line at admin@acmpvan.com.
