FoPA (Friends of Performance Arts)

BHS FoPA (Friends of Performing Arts) is a collaborative group of families, faculty and administrators that advances performing arts activities at Brookline High School through parent-driven volunteer event support, grants, and outreach. This year we are reviving our activities and seeking new volunteers to help in three key areas: shows, grants, and outreach. Why volunteer with FoPA? Because 650 students and their dedicated teachers rely on volunteers to partner with them to produce robust annual performances that enhance the creative culture in Brookline. Active parent participation in shows, fundraising and town-wide outreach demonstrates Brookline’s commitment to the beneficial role of performing arts in public education. Students who are part of the performing arts community at BHS gain important outlets for personal expression and opportunities to learn new skills. Learn more about how you can help! Contact 2021-22 Chair Elizabeth Schlosberg at fopa.bhs.pto@gmail.com, visit our website www.brooklinefopa.org, and follow us on social media (Facebook: @FoPA.BHS and Instagram: @brooklinefopa). Monthly meetings will be announced soon.
