Hello Lovely Reader

Firstly, if you're a new subscriber via the necklace competition, welcome. I use this newsletter to share things I'm doing, books I'm reading, and anything else that comes into my head. I hope you enjoy it.

Obviously, I've had a hectic, emotional, exciting August. However, the sudden bump back to reality never gets any easier. My head still wants to run at 100 mph, but there's nothing to run towards. I'm frazzled but still on alert.

Small Forgotten Moments has been on a tour around twenty-one blogs, Instagram accounts, and Facebook pages (links further down this email). It's been reviewed, and I've been interviewed. Keeping up with all my mentions was a huge task - especially on days I was at work and had upwards of 20 notifications. That never happens to me.

On the whole, people seem to like it, which is a huge relief after pouring your heart and soul into it. Here's a link to the Goodreads page, if you'd like to read some for yourself.

There's still a little more work to be done. This morning, I'm going to be signing copies at my local bookshop, The Bookshelf between 10 and 11.30. If you're local, pop along and say hi. I highly recommend having a browse of their shelves and sitting down to enjoy one of the best scones I've ever tastes!

Hopefully, I'm being interviewed on BBC Radio Cornwall at 6.35pm this evening. At the time of writing, this hadn't been finalised.

Tomorrow, I'm going to force myself to sit quietly with a notebook, probably in front of Homes Under the Hammer, and draft a new short story which has been nagging at me. There will be tea, there will be chocolate, and there will be very little social media.

From now on, this newsletter will revert to once a month, or possibly once every couple of months - I haven't fully decided, but I do need to get back to writing the next book. Thank you for reading these weekly updates and sending messages of encouragement. You're brilliant!

And the winner is...

Yesterday, I made the draw for the necklace, and I'm delighted to announce that out of forty-two entrants

Amy Cockram

was my winner. I've already been in touch with Amy, and the prize will be on the way to her shortly.

Thank you to everyone who entered.

To grab your own copy of Small Forgotten Moments,
follow this link to the Vine Leaves Press website
(all purchase options available including Kindle)

And if you enjoy the novel, please tell your friends and consider reviewing it on the site where you purchased it. Early reviews for any book are from established bloggers and reviewers, so don't feel you have to be as lengthy and detailed as they are. An 'I liked this book' matters equally.
Thanks for reading. See you next month!
