Hello Hillside Campers ....

It was great to see and hear from everyone this past weekend at our Customer Appreciation Event, we hope you enjoyed all the treats! All the winners from that event and the Halloween events are posted below ! It's also that time of year again when we have to start thinking about the fall and what comes next. Below you'll find important and we think, useful information as we head into the fall season. Please note an email specifically for winterizing will follow this email!

GOLF CART STORAGE
Hillside offers a limited number of unheated indoor storage spaces for golf carts. Cost is $100.00 + HST, and storage will be billed on the October 1st statement. Extended seasonal customers, can contact the office to book a drop off time. Please contact the office to confirm your spot and new this year pick up your "Reserved Spot" sticker for your golf cart. Please leave all keys IN carts.

FALL BILLING
The office will continue emailing statements, please note that statements come from the email address statements@hillsidelakepark.com. This months bill includes your deposit for the 2022 season. Important things to remember are this deposit is required to hold your site for next season and is deducted directly off of next years seasons fee when invoiced. Deposits are due by September 30th, and are non refundable. If you find you are not receiving your statement or it is hitting your junk or spam folder, add statements@hillsidelakepark.com to your safe sender list and that will ensure you see your invoice in a timely manner.

PREP FOR LEAF RAKING
If your unit is in an area that we come through and rake in the fall, we ask that you put away any patio furniture, lawn items (ground lights, noma moon rays, garden ornaments etc.) and any other items that will be buried by leaves. This will help prevent damage. Any soft shelled canopies must come down. 

2 MONTH LEAVE
Your extended seasonal contracts state that you are required to be out of your unit for 2 consecutive months. Our rule has always been that customers are required to be away for 2 consecutive months with the ability to come back for the purpose of checking on their unit once per week for a duration of 3-4 hours. 
We have not changed this rule, but we have changed how we are enforcing this rule. Our implemented change is as follows; please continue to notify the office of your departure/return date. Once you have left for your time away, your gate card will no longer be active. If you plan to return for your weekly check of your unit, please press the buzzer to gain access. Your gate card will be working for your return date. This change of procedure allows us to monitor more effectively and ensure the rules are being properly followed. RATES FOR 2022
8 Month Seasonals:  April 15th - December 15th   $3865.00 +HST, fees will be billed April 1st  2022 and are due by April 30th, 2022. 
10 Month Seasonals: 10 Months during 2022 with no occupancy for 2 consecutive months $4555.00 +HST, fees will be billed January 1st 2022 and are due by January 31st 2022.
