OTMC Thursday Night Meetings

9 September -  ZOOM Meeting - BYO Photos

Due to the current restrictions, we are returning to virtual Zoom Meetings until such time our region is returned to Alert Level 1.

This week's meeting is another informal BYO photo night - this is your chance to share old or new tramping photos, or maybe some interesting photos from your local lockdown walks.

It appears likely that we won't be back at L1 over the next couple of weeks, so we are looking for suggestions or volunteers for online presentations for our weekly Zoom meetings - if you have something that you can present over the next couple of weeks then please email as at otmcnz@gmail.com

The Zoom details are (this is a recurring meeting, so the same details apply each week)

Day Trips

This weekend we will be in Level 2 (delta). That means that day trips can go ahead but without car pooling. So, we can either drive individually to the start of the walk, or walk from a central meeting place, e.g. Woodhaugh Gardens or the clubrooms.
For those leaders planning planning a trip in the coming weeks, just be aware that members will have to make their own way to the start of your day walk/ adventure

Sunday 12 September:
Flagstaff

Leader: Mark Stephenson
Meet Woodhaugh Gardens entrance on George Street 9am. We’ll walk to McGoun’s track, up the old Pineapple, do a circuit of the Flagstaff via the Swampy track, the Bullring, then back down Davies track and back to Woodhaugh. An easy trip, possibility of cafe at the end but masks then must then be worn.

Sunday 19 September:
This was planned to be Rob Sealy’s trip to Silverstream but can't go ahead because he's is trapped in the UK. Would anyone like to lead this trip, or lead a trip somewhere else this weekend.

Further Ahead
We have gaps on 10 and 24 October Please get in touch with Mark Stephenson if you can fill one of these dates. (markstephenson835@gmail.com)
