DEEP DEUCE DIRECTOR'S CUT THIS FRIDAY

Deep Deuce Director's Cut is making its 3rd annual return THIS Friday, September 10 at 8pm with a starry night screening of the 1997 film, Men In Black (PG-13).

This FREE screening is open to all ages and will include a free photo booth, free movie snacks, and free limited-edition Men In Black giveaways while supplies last. The feature presentation will begin at approximately 8:30pm.

 The screening will take place on the grass lot located at 320 N.E. 2nd Street. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, food, and beverages for the movie. Join the neighborhood for a special night under the stars at this free outdoor movie event.

AUTOMOBILE ALLEY'S ART OF BEER

Join the district for Automobile Alley's Art of Beer on Saturday, September 25 from 2pm to 8pm at Campbell Art Park outside of Oklahoma Contemporary.

The event is FREE and family-friendly. Purchase beer from local Auto Alley breweries including Prairie Artisan Ales, Twisted Spike Brewing Company, Vanessa House Beer Co., and Skydance Brewing Co. Attendees can also enjoy art programming and music provided by Oklahoma Contemporary. Mark your calendars and save the date for this fun upcoming event!

3RD FRIDAYS IN THE ARTS DISTRICT

You are invited to 3rd Fridays in the Arts District in downtown Oklahoma City. ULI OKLAHOMA: PARK(ING) DAY OKC

Park(ing) Day is a global, public, participatory art project in which people across the world temporarily repurpose street parking spaces and convert them to tiny parks and places for art, play, and activism. 

On Friday, September 17 from 7:30am to 9:30am, the Oklahoma Urban Land Institute will transform a few ordinary parking spots on the south side of City Hall into a place to sit, work, or perhaps even relax for the morning. Stop by and see it for yourself!

ARTSPACE AT UNTITLED CREATIVE MARKET
 
Join the next Creative Market at ARTSPACE at Untitled in Deep Deuce on Saturday, September 18, from 4-7pm where you can browse over 60 local creatives' artwork and enjoy live music from Nia Moné. Attendees can also view the ART 365 exhibition throughout the indoor galleries.

Buy a drink from the bar and browse, or get hands-on learning by attending one of the demos including a letterpress demo and printing with fruits and veggies. Regardless of how you'd like to participate, don't miss this art-centric event.

GARDEN OF PLENTY

The Garden of Plenty is a temporary wheat-paste mural created by artists Marissa Raglin. This #MicrOKC grant-funded mural will be located in the alleyway behind Plenty Mercantile in Automobile Alley. The whimsical mural consists of enlarged garden-inspired block prints and is applied directly to the brick facade using wheat paste.

The mural will be unveiled with a toast on Wednesday, September 22 from 5-7pm. Join the party to see this one-of-a-kind work of art and shop other prints at Plenty Mercantile.

EXHIBITION: EVERYTHING IS INTERESTING

ExhibITion: Everything Is Interesting, featuring the artwork of local artist and printmaker Emma Difani, will open at amshot (428 Dean A. McGee Ave.) on Thursday, September 23 from 5-8pm. The gallery is free to view and attend.

For a $5 donation, guests 21 and over can enjoy light hors-d'oeuvres, wine, and local beer from sponsor Equity Brewing Co. The exhibit opening will benefit Cavett Kids, which provides free camps and year-round programs for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses.
