A message from the Board
September is not even half-way through and what a month it has been.
During the weekend our U15 Söder team played in the U15 National T20 Final against Göteborg CC.....
From an internal administrative side of the club in the last quarter the board has been looking at ways to improve the efficiency of the way we work. Therefore it is exciting to be able to announce in this newsletter two big changes. Firstly, we will be changing our administrative platform to SportAdmin. And secondly, we will outsource the logistics of uniform ordering and distribution to Den Svenska Cricketbutiken. We envision that these changes will help us focus on developing cricket in the club rather than spending time on administration.
A lastly but not least, we'd like to encourage everyone to support the Women's Soft Ball Cricket programme. Please share information about it with friends and family.

U15 National Championship Finals
After an undefeated regular season on Saturday the U15 Söder team played in the National T20 final against Göteborg CC in Linköping. The match was a sea-saw affair, with momentum changing as both teams took control from time to time. In the end Göteborg reached the target of 132 for the loss of 6 wickets.
Winning silver medal was a fantastic achievement, capping of a marvellous year where everyone in the team has grown and developed enormously.

SportAdmin - our new administrative platform
In September a decision from the Board was made to migrate the tool that we use for club administration from IdrottOnline to SportAdmin. In the analysis conducted, SportAdmin was shown to be the best tool for the needs of our club. This move to greater digitalisation in the way we operate as a club will create even greater opportunities to develop and grow our club.
As a member, and in partnership with Bilmate, this will bring in new ways to pay your membership and activity fees such as by card, invoice and instalments. Plus it will reduce the administration we need to do as volunteers running the club on your behalf.
As soon as you have paid your membership fee you will get access to the a wide range of functions that are included in the MedlemsApp - Click here to download the app for Android or Apple
There will be an extra administrations fee, from between 9 and 59kr, charged to pay for this service. If you choose to pay by instalments there will be additional fees and interest charged.
Examples of the functionality in the MedlemsApp are:
- A digital membership card
- Showing the club calendar with your teams event and providing the ability to respond to a kallelse in the app
- Ability to organise car-pooling for away matches or cricket camps
- Showing club and team news
- See the status of your payments for membership and activity fees
- Showing contact details for team mates, so you can reach out to ach other directly
- Show match reports for your team
- Attendance statistics so you can see how many events you have attended
We will migrate to SportAdmin during the autumn. During this process, and to help us have the right information in SportAdmin, we may need to ask you for help if there are information gaps or some data is out of date. Your timely help when needed will be greatly appreciated.
SportAdmin is a Swedish company and follow all Swedish and EU laws and regulations in respect to management of personal information.

Club Shop at Cricketbutiken.se
At the start of 2021 the club made a decision to have Bhajji Sports as the delivery partner for uniforms for all the teams in the club for the next 3 years. Managing the logistics of ordering personalised uniforms for over 250 members was slightly more complex than we anticipated. Therefore the board made a decision to partner with Den Svenska Cricketbuitken, who will create an online club shop from which they will manage the logistics for us.
All purchases of uniforms will be made through Den Svenska Cricketbuitken, where you can decide on the method of payment that suits you best and get your order shipped directly to you.
Once per year (in March) an order for personalised playing uniforms with the name and playing number will be made to Bhajji Sports. At all other times, along with standard cricket equipment such as bats, gloves and pads, a stock of Stockholm CC clothing will be kept on demand and ready for purchase. These "on demand" will not be personalised.
During the Winter we will increase the range of clothing to include Hoodies, training t-shirts and training shorts. We also understand, to put it politely, that the sizes of the children's clothing were a little crazy. The clothing sizes for children will be changed in 2022 to reflect Swedish children sizes, and we will bring in a Women's fit too. To get consistency and reliability in fit we will be sharing H&M t-shirts to use as a templates during manufacturing.

Women's Cricket
On Sunday mornings at Ärvinge BP in Kista we are holding Soft Ball Cricket sessions for women of all ages. You don't need any experience to join in, just a pair of running shoes, comfortable clothing and a desire to be active and have fun.
Please share this with your friends, colleagues and family. The more people that participate the more fun it is.
