Q&A: ARPA Funding for the Arts

Join us for a Q&A Session regarding the community-wide advocacy initiative to secure ARPA for Arts, Culture, Artists, and Venues. The event will take place virtually over Zoom on September 20 at 1:00 p.m.

Over the last several months, the Fund for the Arts, Arts & Culture Alliance, Elevator Artist Resource Group, and Independent Venues have been building a coalition to secure a portion of the Louisville Metro's $340 million made available by the American Rescue Plan Act. The Metro Council has determined its priorities and the coalition has developed a working proposal to be submitted to the Mayor and Council.

At this Q&A, we will share the proposal with you, invite your questions, feedback, and ultimately your buy-in to ensure we have a strong, passionate, loud, and shared voice. This collective approach will give us the best chance for success and the best opportunity for our arts and culture organizations, artists, and venues to benefit!
