Fall greetings from your Extension Forester! This season brings a new series of Tree School Online classes on October 12 starting with Overcoming Reforestation Challenges. With that topic in mind, fall is a good time to visit any recent plantings and survey them for seedling survival and assess needs for maintenance. Drought updates
This is the last Pacific Northwest Drought Status Update for the 2021 Water Year. Look for the next update in mid-January, which will focus on how precipitation has progressed through Fall and early Winter. You can find more information on the Drought.gov website.
