SERVE SUNDAY
Sunday, September 26

Serve Sunday is an annual event when we go to our local schools to serve on Sunday morning during the time that would normally be reserved for our Sunday Services. You read that right! Instead of walking into church and sitting down, we’re going to walk into our community and serve our schools.
2021 Locations
Parkland:
Washington High School
Graham:
North Star Elementary, Shining Mountain Elementary,
Bethel High School, and Bethel Learning Center

Schedule for the Day
9:00am – Check in and get your assignment
9:00-11:00am – Make friends, serve others, have fun!

12:00pm – Dunk the pastors at RVCC Graham*

School Staff Gifts
A significant element of Serve Sunday is providing a gift for each and every staff member at the schools where we are serving. That includes not only the teachers, but the custodial staff, the office staff, para-educators, etc. If you want make a contribution to the staff gifts, you can use this link or choose "Make a Difference" in the Pushpay app.

Nursery Available
Parents, we really want to see our RVCC families serve together, so we will not have Kids Ministry on this day. The nursery will be available for children 36 months and younger if you sign up by Wednesday, September 22 using this link

Our vision is to see every neighborhood in Pierce County engaged by believers and transformed by Jesus, and Serve Sunday is a day when we concentrate our efforts and work together to make a difference in our community. Put Sunday, September 26 on your calendar and we'll see you at Serve Sunday!

Can't Make It? You Can Still Participate!

If you can't make it to Serve Sunday, but would like to serve in your own neighborhood, check out our ideas for Serve Sunday at Home. You can find those ideas and the Serve Sunday Prayer Guide at rainierview.org/servesunday.
*Serve Sunday is the culmination of our Summer of Serving. The challenge was for the church as a whole to serve 800 or more hours in our communities, and if successful, we'd dunk six of our pastors at the end of Serve Sunday.
