Taking sustainable action at every level

Dairy helps create sustainable food systems, ensuring high quality nutrition and decent work for all. Yet dairy, like all sectors, knows there is more work to do. Globally, nationally and locally, dairy is taking action.

Globally, dairy’s ambition to accelerate climate action to reduce greenhouse gas emission has been raised with the launch yesterday of Pathways to Dairy Net Zero.

Nationally, a new Deloitte Access Economics report out today showcases dairy processors’ significant contribution to the Australia’s economy and value more broadly across the nation.

Locally, a pilot program in Tasmania has set out to create new markets for surplus dairy calves.
