📅 CHAPEL STUDENTS CALENDAR

We are excited to launch the next season of Chapel Students. Here are the next several events on the Calendar. Use the button below to down load a PDF of the Fall/Winter 2021 Calendar.

🧨 BLAST!

First Step: Blast! meets once per month and is geared for students who have never been to church before. We focus on having fun, building relationships, eating a meal together, and presenting the Gospel in an engaging way. Blast! makes a great first invite.

• 1st Youth Group of the Month

• 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM

• Meal together

• Middle School and High School

• Weather permitting will be 100% Outdoors

⛽ ReFUEL

Second Step: ReFUEL compliments BLAST as well as focuses on deepening our relationships with Jesus and each other. After hangout, games, announcements, and worship, we discuss basic and practical topics in an engaging way in breakout groups. Our goal is to ensure all students have been equipped with the basics of the Christian faith.

• Remaining Sundays of the Month

🔥 IGNITE

Deepest Step: IGNITE is the deepest level in our pathway. It is where we have honest conversations about how God is transforming our hearts and minds. We help each other develop the habit of daily Bible reading and equip students on how to have a healthy devotional life.

Ignite is a safe place for honest questions. We end by praying for each other. While this is the most challenging environment in our pathway, students and leaders consistently say Ignite is very important and helpful in their walk with Jesus.

• Wednesday Nights 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

• Middle School and High School in separate rooms

• 100% indoors at Chapel

❓ SAFETY QUESTIONS

As we have communicated earlier, we are carefully monitoring the ever-present COVID-19 situation and praying for God’s wisdom as we create a safe and healthy church environment. As you probably already know, the CDC states that wearing a mask while indoors is a good idea. Because our Commonwealth is presently not requiring houses of worship to wear masks during indoor services, we are following suit and will not require the wearing of masks. As things continue to develop and change, we will monitor the situation and make decisions accordingly.

Please join us in prayer over this time, and thanks so much for being a part of the Chapel family.

Every student will ask themselves theses check-in questions. Students will not attend the program in-person if any of the follow are true:

1. Are you experiencing any symptoms such as fever (100.00 and above), cough, shortness of breath, chills, fatigue, muscle/body aches, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea?

2. Have you had ‘close contact’ with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19? ‘Close contact’ means living in the same household as a person who has tested positive for COVID-19, caring for a person who has tested positive for COVID-19, being within 6 feet of a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 for 15 minutes or more, or coming in direct contact with secretions (e.g. sharing utensils, being coughed on) from a person who has tested positive for COVID-19, while that person was symptomatic.

3. Have you been asked to self-isolate or quarantine by their doctor or a local public health official?
