The historical Zandvoort Park Circuit will be the home to round 6 of the FIA Formula 3 Championship this weekend. PREMA Racing is looking forward to going back to a venue that provided so many great chapters of motorsport history throughout the years.
The Dutch track, located on the North Sea shore just outside Amsterdam, is steeped in history, although a lot has changed since F3 raced there for the last time with positive results for the PREMA stable.
The course will make its debut on the Formula 1 scene and was upgraded with new features, including two spectacular banked corners, turn 3 and 14. Also, the new-spec FIA F3 machinery will be running for the first time there, providing every competitor with new variables.
PREMA Racing is clearly looking for a rebound after a tough weekend at Spa-Francorchamps. Norwegian Dennis Hauger is still leading the championship as he maximized his points score in Belgium, while both Monegasque Arthur Leclerc and Brit Olli Caldwell are looking to capitalize on the potential they showed multiple times over the season and improve their championship position.
With new challenges and opportunities up for grabs, the weekend will be key in shaping up the fight ahead of the 2021 finale.
