More Crazy Colors

The figures are cut from EVA foam and attached to a round stretched canvas. Acrylic paint, approximately 24 x 18 inches.

Newsflash:

I am honored to announce that Dr. Harry Cooper, Senior Curator and Head of Modern Art, National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. ,  included one of my works in the Visual Arts Alliance's 37th Annual Juried Exhibition. To see the virtual exhibit go to

https://publish.exhibbit.com/gallery/368862382/atrium-gallery-67840/

Wait for it to load and click Enter. Click the "E" icon in the top left corner, then click the plus next to current exhibitions. I am in Gallery 4, but do look around; there's a lot of excellent artwork on view. Due to the limitations of the platform my work  looks like it's on a canvas. It's not. It is a free hanging shape. Artist's Spotlight: JJ Baker

I have never seen any other artist put this much variety in a painting and make a success of it. In addition to the screaming green furniture, there are at least half a dozen different styles of paint handling in there and he gets away with it! Damn.
You can see more of Baker's work on Instagram.  Monterosso Gallery, 1824 Spring Street, is also featuring his work in a 3 person show along with Vincent Blair and Tod Bailey
